How this website — edjobster.com — collects, uses, and protects personal data, for visitors in India and worldwide.

Scope

This policy covers the edjobster.com marketing website, operated by Edjobster Private Limited, New Delhi, India (CIN U72900DL2022PTC396155). We handle personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act) and, for visitors in the EU/EEA and UK, the GDPR.

Our products — the jobs portal at jobs.edjobster.com, the ATS at app.edjobster.com, and the AI screening tools at tools.edjobster.com — process candidate and account data under their own privacy policies, available within each product. If you applied for a job through an employer who uses Edjobster, the employer is the data controller for your application; contact them (or us via the contact page) and we will help route your request.

Data we collect

  • Contact form data — name, email, organisation, phone (optional), your area of interest, and your message, when you choose to write to us.
  • Anti-abuse signals — your IP address (for rate limiting and spam prevention), how long the form was open before submission, and — once enabled — a Cloudflare Turnstile bot-detection token. These protect the form; they are not used for profiling.
  • Usage analytics — standard analytics events (pages visited, approximate location, device type) via Google Analytics, and business-visitor identification via the Apollo.io website tracker.
  • Server logs — IP address and request metadata kept briefly for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies & local storage

This website sets no cookies of its own for core functionality. Analytics cookies and similar identifiers (Google Analytics, Apollo.io) load only after you accept them in the cookie banner — declining keeps the site fully functional with no tracking. You can change your choice any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. Cloudflare Turnstile (once enabled) runs on the contact form as a strictly-necessary anti-bot measure.

We use one item of browser local storage: your pricing-currency preference (INR or USD), stored on your device so the pricing page remembers your choice. It never leaves your browser.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and follow up about the products you asked about (performance of steps you request / legitimate interests).
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it (legitimate interests / consent where required).
  • To protect the website against spam, bots, and abuse (legitimate interests).

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use data collected on this website to train AI models.

Sharing & processors

We share personal data only with the service providers that run this website, or where the law requires it:

  • Google Analytics — website usage analytics.
  • Apollo.io — business-visitor identification.
  • Cloudflare — Turnstile bot detection on the contact form (once enabled) and network services.
  • Postmark — transactional delivery of contact-form notifications to our team.
  • Hosting infrastructure — the servers and database where this website and its contact submissions run.

Each provider processes data under its own published terms.

International transfers

Edjobster serves visitors in India and worldwide. The providers above may process data on servers outside your country, including outside India and the EU/EEA. Where they do, transfers rely on the safeguards those providers publish (such as standard contractual clauses) and on applicable law.

Retention

Contact submissions are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and our legitimate follow-up, after which they are deleted. Submissions our spam filters flag are reviewed and deleted routinely. Analytics data is retained per the respective provider’s standard retention settings; server logs are kept briefly.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including as a Data Principal under India’s DPDP Act or a data subject under the GDPR — you can ask us to:

  • confirm what personal data of yours we hold and access a copy of it,
  • correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data,
  • delete your data,
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and
  • complain to your supervisory authority (in India, the Data Protection Board of India).

Write to us via the contact page and we will action requests promptly, within the timelines applicable law requires.

Grievance & contact

Privacy questions, complaints, and grievance redressal requests reach us through the contact page or by phone at +91 9319976569. Edjobster Private Limited, New Delhi, India.
